our agent of Bhutan will provide you delicious and hygienic 3 meals a
day while on trek, on a mountain biking tour in Bhutan or on a
cultural
tour (break-fast, lunch and dinner).
Accommodation
All
the Hotels we use are comfortable, clean and offer all the
amenities
required. We have carefully selected the best Hotel in Paro, Tiumphu and
major cities of Bhutan for you and your group. If you would like to
select your Hotel, please let us know in advance and we will book
everything for you.
Transportation
We use
comfortable
and well-maintained 4WD Toyota land cruiser. We ensure
before leaving on a trip that our vehicles are double-checked properly.
Your security is our main
concern and you can be sure to have a safe
trip with

Climate
You
can travel in Bhutan at any time of the year except
during the winter
which starts in December and ends in early March. During the summer, you
should expect some light rainfall especially in the south of Bhutan.
In
the winter time, the temperature can drop down to – 6 degrees Celsius
while in the summer time the temperatures reach an overage of 25 degrees
Celsius.
The best time to travel in Bhutan is during the Spring (March, April and May) as days are warm and clear.
Visa
Bhutan
is accessible by
air and by road. All visitors must hold passport and
valid visa. Visa can be obtained at the Bhutanese diplomatic missions
and consulates in abroad. Visa is
also issued at the entry points. Don't
forget to bring 4 ID pictures and USD 20 (payable in hard currency) for
a tourist visa. It will allow you to stay 14
days in Bhutan.
Vaccinations
As
vaccination requirements change frequently, we suggest you consult your
doctor at least 2
months prior to the commencement of your trip. We
recommend protection against malaria, tetanus, typhoid, hepatitis and
polio.
Insurance
Before joining the tour we
recommend you take out travel insurance. This should include adequate
cover for baggage, medical
expenses, cancellation, helicopter evacuation
and emergency repatriation. If you do not have travel insurance you
must have a credit card with at least a US $
5000 limit.
Personal expenses
We
don’t pay for your personal expenses and recommend you to bring extra
money to cover
meals not included in the tour, extra activities,
souvenirs, tips etc.
Bhutan currency: Ngultrum (Nu) there is no ATM machines in Bhutan and credit cards are
usually not accepted.
Traveling Responsibility
Wonderful
environment of the Himalayas is also an extremely fragile one.

destroy the very beauty which attracts us in the first place. At

Passports:
Valid passport required by all nationals referred to in chart above.
Note: Tourists to Bhutan are obliged to use Druk Air (the only airline serving Bhutan) either on entering or leaving the country. The government may refuse entry to those wishing to visit for mountaineering, publicity and other research activities.
Passport Note:
(a) There are two ways of entering Bhutan: by air to Paro Airport or by road to the Bhutanese border town of Phuentsholing. Samdrup Jongkhar is used for exits from Bhutan by land. All travellers entering the country by road must ensure that they have the necessary documentation for transiting through that part of India to Phuentsholing. Consult the Important Addresses section for India. Visitors are also advised to contact the Government of India Tourist Office (see India section) to check exactly what special permits or other documents may be necessary as these regulations are subject to change at short notice. (b) Visitors are required to book with a registered tour operator in Bhutan, which can be done directly through an affiliated travel agent abroad. Independent travel is not permitted in Bhutan and visitors are required by immigration to bring two passport photos with them for use on arrival.

Note: Nationals not referred to in the chart above are advised to contact the embassy to check visa requirements (see Important Addresses).
Visa Note:
(a) Air tickets cannot be purchased without visa clearance. (b) Visas are only issued to tourists booked with a local licensed tour operator, or through a foreign travel agent. All applications are submitted through the tour operator. (c) Visas are issued (stamped in passport) on arrival at Paro Airport or at Phuentsholing check post.

Validity:
Visas are initially granted for stays of up to 15 days. The Bhutan Tourism Corporation Limited (BTCL) can apply for an extension of tourist visas for an additional fee per person.
Working days required:
Visa clearance takes at least 10 days to process and should be applied for at least 60 days prior to arrival in Bhutan.
